Change challenges what we know and how we learn. Collaborative
Coaching has been developed by professionals to help organizational
leaders acquire new knowledge and in turn, lead change within themselves,
at work, at home, and in the broader community. The journey begins
from within. What emerges is joint exploration through Action Learning,
a collaborative learning process. Individuals seek Coaching to help them identify areas where change
would be of benefit and to seek opportunities for accelerating learning.
Collaborative Coaching begins with understanding our perceptions,
myths and realities--questions, answers and assumptions: Our perception
of reality is influenced by the assumptions we make and the questions
we ask--this frames our reality and, in turn, affects the quality
of the decisions we make. And it is our decisions that shape our
actions. Collaborative coaching helps individuals understand how
we filter information and frame problems--looking at critical issues
from many different perspectives. Effective coaching can increase
productivity and effectiveness, individually and collectively. |
